Universal Church of Love's Association with Metropolitan Community Churches (MCC)

We are thrilled to share that Universal Church of Love has taken a significant step in our spiritual journey by becoming an MCC Spiritual Community. This affiliation with Metropolitan Community Churches aligns with our commitment to fostering a loving, inclusive, and accountable community. Guided by the MCC Code of Conduct and a shared Covenant for MCC Community, we're dedicated to upholding the highest standards of ethics and compassion in all that we do. As part of this vibrant network, we look forward to joining hands with like-minded souls to further the cause of justice, acceptance, and spiritual growth. Welcome to our new chapter of unity and purpose on the Gold Coast!

MCC is an international, LGBT-affirming Protestant Christian denomination with 222 member congregations spanning across 37 countries. Established in 1968 in Los Angeles, California, MCC has been a beacon of inclusivity, with a special focus on outreach to lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender families and communities. Our alignment with MCC marks a significant chapter in our journey, reinforcing our commitment to diversity, love, and unity. Together, we stand strong as we embrace our shared values and purpose.

Join us on Sunday 27th August 2023 at 9 am, at Southport Community Centre, 6 Lawson Street, Southport, for our first service as an MCC Spiritual Community. Let's celebrate this new chapter of growth and unity, creating positive impact together. Your presence matters!

Witness the history of MCC in this documentary, "Call Me Troy." It presents an incredibly inspiring narrative of an extraordinary and dynamic person whose advocacy was far ahead of its era.
