Celebrating Trans Day of Visibility: Resources from Rev. Dr. Jo Inkpin
As we approach the Trans Day of Visibility (Monday, 31 March), we are excited to share a collection of resources provided by Rev. Dr. Jo Inkpin and Rainbow Christians Together in Sydney. These resources are designed to inspire, educate, and encourage active participation in celebrating transgender and gender-diverse (TGD) lives and gifts.
For churches and schools, worship resources are available for Sunday, 30 March, and the Trans Day of Visibility itself. These resources include liturgical materials and two short, impactful videos produced by trans and gender-diverse ecumenical Christians and Christian allies in Sydney. Filmed at Pancake Pride this year, these videos are a testament to the commitment of Rainbow Christians Together and serve as a call to celebrate TGD lives amidst current challenges.

A Call to Action
These resources offer an opportunity to stand in solidarity with transgender individuals and celebrate their contributions to our communities. We encourage you to share these materials widely and use them in your worship services, gatherings, or personal reflections. Together, we can create a more inclusive and affirming world for all.
With gratitude to everyone involved in creating these resources, especially Orange Kao, Pitt Street, and St. Stephen’s Uniting Churches, let us come together to celebrate the beauty and diversity of God’s creation.
